ANCHOR TEXT
An Anchor text, also known as a link text or a link title or a link label, is that part of the link which is visible to users and is the clickable text in the hyperlink. It is basically, the hyperlink text on websites that you can click to move from one Web page to the other. It can be considered as the piece of content describing the link. In the web standard, the blue underlined anchor text is the most commonly used one. Anchor texts should indicate to the user what kind of page they will be taken to if they click the link.
For instance, “https://www.javatpoint.com/what-is-html”, in this “https://www.javatpoint.com” is the target link and “what-is-html” is the anchor text.
