An anchor link usually appears in visible, clickable text. It’s often underlined and embossed in a different color than the surrounding text. The linked text tells the audience what to expect if they click or tap on it.

Backlinks.
Backlinks are also known as Inbound and External links, these links point from one website to another website. Pages with a much number of backlinks have the most organic search engine rankings.
Backlinks are votes from other websites. Each of these votes shows the search engine if the content is valuable, authentic, or useful. Backlinks offer better website SEO because they boost your website’s authority and can help you rank higher for target keywords in search engine result pages (SERPs).
