A Brief Note of my Working Experience in KPO Industry
This is a professional biography of a person named, Karthikeyan Balabaskaran, who is a former senior quality executive in PreludeSys India Pvt. Ltd. Chennai. He recently resigned from his position due to Covid-19 pandemic.
In this column, he shares his working experience with multiple knowledge process outsourcing (KPO ) companies in the healthcare services domain.
He began expressing his thoughts from his last job profile. As a senior quality executive, his main duty was to edit and proofread summarized medical documents. Then, these documents uploaded to the client with expected quality consistently.
Before working with PreludeSys, he has worked as a Medical Scribe in Only Group Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, for one year. His job is scribing medical records for patients. This is a real-time process done through web-application software, while the doctor visits patients in his clinic in the United States
He started his career in 2007 as a medical transcription trainee. He moved up gradually by working in various positions such as editor and quality analyst in the medical transcription domain. He has worked in top-notch MNC companies such as Nuance Transcription Services and Medusind Solutions.
He completed his graduation in BA English through correspondence in 2012.
His future aspirations are to become a good content writer and later to start his own business.
