Weekend Getaways from Delhi

Working whole week hard, waiting for a weekend to spend peacefully, but not in a boring way is what every 9-5 working hour person wishes for. You want your Mondays to be energized, filled with enthusiasm and motivation and for that, you really need a break from your daily routine.

Well! It’s a boon for you if you live in Delhi, it’s really fun to explore Delhi itself, a city which welcomes people around the globe in ShahRukh’s style. But what if you’re all caught with it, now what?

Well, there’s nothing to worry about. I’ll introduce you with some beautiful and not so far places to travel on your weekends.

AGRA (233km)

Yes, the city known as a token of love. Here you have a lot to explore, start your day with the “sunrise at Taj Mahal” followed by other historic places like “Agra Fort”, visit the baby Taj Mahal “Tomb of Itimad Ud Daulah.” Then take an exciting ride of tuk-tuk to “Akbar’s Tomb” in Sikandra and support acid attack survivors by eating delicious food at “Sheroes Hangout Cafe.” Later, watch the sunset at “Mehtab Bagh” and have a local delicacy “Petha” for dessert at the bazaar.

NEEMRANA (129km)

Open your senses in “Neemrana Fort Palace” by experiencing some royalty here and meet fauna in their natural habitat in “Sariska National Park.” Take a step towards history by visiting “Baori” and witness breathtaking views at “Bala Quila or Almar Fort.” Later relax beside the waters at “Siliserh Lake” and lastly explore the ruins of “Ancient Vrindavan Palace
