Anchor text is a visible, clickable text which links two web pages together. It usually appears in different colors and is often underlined. A named anchor is a text that links to a location on a page which gives relevant information about the topic being discussed on the source page, and is alternatively referred to as a bookmark, in- page link and jump link.
Example:- “ top” is a named anchor that allows the reader to return to the top of the page.
